Through small groups and larger events, we want to equip men in their pursuit of deeper relationships with God, their families, and one another. Read below and learn about joining a Journey Group, Brothers in Christ, and Community Bible Study.

Men’s Journey Groups

Meet weekly with other men on the journey to becoming mature and equipped followers of Christ.

Journey Groups follow a curriculum that is biblical, practical, holistic, and missional. In addition to deepening their biblical knowledge through study, men pray together and purposefully apply the Word of God to their lives to shape their motivations in all areas of life. Participants tend to develop a friendship and close spiritual bond with one another.

The material is set into 28 weekly lessons studied in small groups of four to eight men. We meet in person (in homes, coffee shops, and other locations) or online from about October to April each year, at times convenient for the workday (early or late in the day). Besides the curriculum, there are media offerings of written, audio, and video material, plus several short books or pamphlets.

Brothers in Christ Men’s Breakfast

Brothers in Christ, BIC, is a monthly breakfast for the men of MPC to get together for food, faith, and fellowship.

BIC provides an environment where Christian men forge strong relationships. We’re partnering in the daily battle against the enemy within, our sinful nature, and resisting a world that continually bombards us with enticements that would take our hearts captive and turn us into traitors to our sovereign, Jesus Christ.

Men’s Community Bible Study (meets at McLean Bible Church)

Men’s Community Bible Study (CBS) meets weekly on Thursday evenings (7–8:30pm) at McLean Bible Church (8925 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA 22182) for in-depth study of the word of God.

  • CBS is an international, interdenominational ministry with a mission “to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all”.
  • You can join any time throughout the year; both in-person and online remote core groups are available.
  • During the 2025–26 ministry year, we’ll study the book of Psalms.
