Tim Tien

As Assistant Director of Communications, Tim oversees and executes much of the church’s photography, videography, and social media needs. Originally from Malaysia, Tim brings a diverse skill set shaped by work in higher education, athletics communications, professional sports, and freelance production.

Having graduated from Messiah University with a degree in Digital Media, Tim is passionate about storytelling through visual media and aims to help people connect and relate to each other through the stories of their lived experiences. He hopes to use his expertise to inform and draw people more deeply into the life of the church and ultimately toward Christ.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys watching movies purely for enjoyment (trying not to analyze them too much) and pursuing music. He is a passionate musician who plays the drums and is also a classically trained tenor with a particular love for early music. Bach is his bro.
