Mary Margaret Bargery

Mary Margaret is a recent graduate of Grove City College and is in Season 19 of the Capital Fellows program. At Grove City, she pursued a bachelor’s in English with a minor in musical theatre. She is thankful for the opportunity to serve at McLean as the Children’s Ministry intern. In this role, she seeks to fill the needs of the Children’s Ministry team so that the Lord’s littlest sheep might learn to seek and love him with open hearts, laughter, and so much joy!

Mary Margaret has been a part of our church since her family retired from the military in 2016. Having been a member of McLean’s Youth Ministry herself, she counts it a privilege to lean in and care for the church this year. Her passion for serving children stems from being an aunt to six, leading within camp ministry, and many, many years of babysitting.

In her spare time, Mary Margaret enjoys reading a good book, hiking and rock climbing, and making some use of her very practical musical theatre minor by participating in community theatre and playing guitar.
