Bill brings his gifted intellect to our community ministries, shepherding our discipleship and care resources and teaching courses for our Capital Fellows program. A longtime teacher, Bill is passionate about helping our congregation understand God’s Word and how it can transform their lives.

Before his current role at MPC, Bill served as the Assistant Academic Dean and Assistant Professor of Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) in Atlanta. He earned his MDiv from RTS and an MA and PhD in Semitic and Egyptian Languages and Literatures from Catholic University. Prior to becoming a pastor Bill worked as a management consultant, which shaped both his approach to pastoral ministry and his emphases on faith, work, and vocation.

Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, and daughters Caroline and Evelyn. He relaxes by spending time outdoors.
