Event planning is a great way to meet more women in our church or engage and deepen your connections with them! We’re looking for women with all kinds of gifts and talents; you don’t need any prior event-planning experience.
- YOU CAN EXPECT to work together on projects like: tabling to help promote an event, organizing a volunteer signup to make coffee and setup/teardown, planning and executing table decorations, brainstorming and recruiting emcees and testimony givers, arranging catering, finding fun door prize ideas and creative icebreakers, and more.
- YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF you’re passionate about the MPC women’s community and excited about helping create meaningful opportunities for women to connect to God and to one another.
- TIME COMMITMENT Varies; as an event draws near the needs increase, but in between events there are periods of rest. We host four events a year — you don’t need to be available for every event. Sign up as you’re able: approximately eight weeks before each event, available team members will meet to share ideas and identify needs.
