Children’s Ministry is empowered by members of our church who volunteer their time and energy to love our kids and families. Kids learn and experience the love of Jesus, which we pray encourages them toward a lifetime of faith.
But did you know it takes about 140 regular volunteers to make Children’s Ministry happen? That includes volunteers in Nursery, Sunday School teachers, other Sunday morning support roles, and leaders for Club 45 and Communicants on Sunday evenings.
Additionally, beginning September 7, we will be incorporating new service times (8:45am and 11:15am worship times) with 10:15am discipleship hour in between. As we approach this fall, please consider what your place might be serving in Children’s Ministry! Training is provided, and volunteers work as a team.
Need: We’re looking for weekly, twice-monthly, once-monthly volunteers.
Description: Whether it’s playing with babies or teaching the 2’s, 3’s, and Pre-K’ers gospel-centered lessons, there’s never a dull moment!
Need: This is a new program, and we’d love for you to be involved! Contact us for more info.
Description: Kids begin in the service, then are dismissed to Children’s Worship — a time to grow in their knowledge and love of worship.
Need: We’re looking for preferably weekly volunteers to teach on a team; we’ll train you!
Description: These classes occur during the 10:15am discipleship hour to help children learn and grow in their faith.
Need: We’re looking for once-per-month volunteers.
Description: Roles include Hall Supervisors, Welcome Desk Greeters, and Buddies.
Need: We’re looking for twice-monthly leaders.
Description: Club 45 provides a fun time of fellowship for children in 4th & 5th grade. Kids will enjoy worship, silly games, and dinner with friends. Club 45 meets on two Sunday nights per month.
Need: We’re looking for twice-monthly teachers.
Description: In 6th grade, children are invited to become communing members of our church. This process includes learning the precepts of the Christian faith among fellowship, games, and dinner. Communicants meets on two Sunday nights per month.
Regularly serving in Children’s Ministry requires a background check, two references, and completion of a training session.
