Don’t miss this unique opportunity for growth and conversation around the history of the church in D.C., the ministry of Francis Grimké, and issues related to race and the church.

Who was Francis Grimké?

Francis Grimké was a brilliant theologian, pastor, and civil rights leader whose insights on race, justice, and the gospel are profoundly relevant today — but largely forgotten. In an era marked by polarization and racial tension, Grimké’s life offers a vision of faithful, courageous Christian witness. His words — rooted in Scripture and lived through adversity — speak prophetically into our present moment.
