Everyone needs Jesus, who came to restore our relationship with God. What if everyONE at MPC prayed for ONE person — and then took a step toward inviting that ONE into the life of our church?
Our goal is simple: Everyone praying for ONE. Everyone inviting ONE.
We believe God is already at work in the lives of the people around us. Our calling is to pray, to notice, to love, to listen, to share our stories, and to invite people to take a next step toward Jesus.
Share the first name/initials of a person you know locally who doesn’t yet know Jesus.
EveryONE begins with prayer. Who is the ONE person in the metro DC area that God has placed on your heart? Maybe it’s a neighbor, a friend, a co-worker, or a family member. Perhaps it’s someone you see regularly — or someone you haven’t seen in years.
Start by praying for them.
When the opportunity comes, take a simple step: invite your ONE to experience the life of MPC with you.
The first invitation can be small and simple: it might be for coffee or a meal, to a special event, or to a Community Group gathering or a worship service. Simply invite your ONE to something that has meaning to you.
Give someone a taste of MPC and the gospel and walk the journey of faith with them.
Everyone’s story matters, and every story points toward a bigger and better story: the good news of Jesus.
As we grow and go in grace, we learn to recognize what God is doing, share what he has done in our lives, and welcome others to discover their own story with him.
God delights in using ordinary acts of faithfulness — a prayer, your story, a conversation, an invitation — to plant and grow seeds of faith.
