2026 Young Adult Winter Retreat

All young adults are invited to join us for a weekend of worship, good food, fellowship, fun, and plenty more. This retreat is a great place to meet new people and get better connected with our church family. It’s an incredible opportunity to get away from the busy Washington, D.C. area, grow in your relationship with Christ, and build community with other believers!

Registration begins at $90 per person.

• Early registration (by December 17) is for 20% off (code: EARLYBIRD).
• All first timers get 25% off (code: FIRSTTIME). 

Lodging

• One of the best parts of this retreat are the houses we stay in. You will cook breakfast with your house Saturday and Sunday morning. There may even be inter-house competition throughout the weekend. Because of this focus on community within houses, some houses will be mixed-gender and some will be single-gender. In the mixed-gender houses, men and women will be on different floors with different restrooms but will utilize the common kitchen and living room. If you have a strong preference for either, please indicate that on the registration form.
• Additionally, because of a limited number of beds, most people will be sharing a bed. You may bring an air mattress or sleeping bag if you wish.
• If you have a roommate preference, please indicate that on the registration form.

Meet our speaker

Clément Tendo is originally from Goma, in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. In God’s providence, Clément got to hear God’s Word proclaimed at home and at church, as a child. As the Lord continued to work in His life, he came to the realization that he was saved and that he is sustained by God’s sovereign grace and work (Eph. 2:1-10; Philippians 2:12-13). After high school, he joined African Bible University (ABU) in Uganda, where he came to know what he believes and why he believes it. After ABU, he enrolled at Westminster in Philadelphia, PA, where he completed his MDiv. and is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry dissertation, focusing on gospel-centered peacemaking in communities torn by conflict.

Recently ordained in June of 2024, Clément is an Associate Pastor at One Voice Fellowship. He married Tracy, August 23, 2025, and it has been an amazing journey of trusting the Lord and growing in His steadfast love together as a couple. Clément enjoys sharing quality time and meals, long walks, and playing pickleball (a recent hobby) with his wife, relatives, and friends.
