Sean Lucas* will give a lecture discussing the Presbyterian Church in America’s confession and character, history and hopes for the future. This lecture is a part of Reformed Theological Seminary Washington’s 30th anniversary History & Hope Church Lecture Series, featuring leading representatives of the denominations RTS Washington most frequently serves.

* Sean Lucas serves as the Chancellor’s Professor of Church History at RTS as well as senior pastor of Independent Presbyterian Church (PCA), Memphis, TN. He is the author of For a Continuing Church: The Roots of the Presbyterian Church in America, as well as other books and articles on Presbyterianism.
