A little about me, I am in my early 30s, a software engineer who works from home. I go to a local church, and volunteer as worship leader at a local Bible study. We have two cats, so looking for cat friendly folks, but unable to have additional pets.
We have a 95 sqft cozy, furnished room with a shared bathroom at $1000/month, with a full-size bunk-bed, nightstand with outlets, white filing cabinet, storage ottoman, huge double windows with plenty of light, ceiling fan & light, dresser, closet, and desk.
Lease is preferred to be a six-month minimum. Included in the rent is high-speed wifi, common kitchen items, and a monthly professional cleaning.
There will be 5 people total and all house members share utilities and cleaning responsibilities. There’s two people in their mid-20s and one in their 60s; it’s a very harmonious and fun group that watches out for each other. Utilities range from $50-$60 monthly. You must work in the office or be hybrid. Kitchen use is recommended to meal plan.
My heart is to build a Christian community; where the common areas are a flexible place to hang, hold small groups, Bible studies, get-togethers, prayer meetings, and board games. We have monthly dinners and celebrating personal events like birthdays and holidays are highly welcomed!
The townhouse is located in The Towns at Boulevard VI in the City of Fairfax and has four flours, about 2800 square feet. There’s plenty of hangout spots and 2 TVs for everyone to have their privacy and their friends over. The community has a walking path around the whole area, a park nearby, and an upcoming Mosaic District-like development within walking distance. The house is walking distance from the Shops at Fairfax, Aldi, Planet Fitness, Heart, 99 Ranch, Panera, Duck Donuts, Starbucks, Old Town Fairfax, Lowes, CVS, Fairfax Presbyterian Church, parks, Walmart, and many restaurants. Vienna metro stations is about an 8 min drive away or a 15-minute CUE bus ride. GMU is about a 5 min drive or 10 min bike ride and the CUE stop is just outside my house.
