CM Nonprofit Youth Soccer Coach/Educator Seeking Peaceful, Respectful Home (NoVA / W/NW DC, Orange/Silver Line)
Hello! I’m a nonprofit youth soccer coach and educator looking for a peaceful, respectful place to call home in Northern Virginia or W/NW DC. Ideal move-in: Last week of August or Sept 1.
Location:
Must be within a 10-minute or less walk of one of these Metro stops:
Top choice: Vienna, Dunn Loring, West Falls Church, East Falls Church, Ballston
Also workable: Virginia Square, Clarendon, Courthouse, Rosslyn, or Foggy Bottom (Orange/Silver Line)
Budget: Up to $1,100/month (utilities included preferred), ideally around or under $1,000/month.
About Me / What I’m Seeking:
– Easy access to laundry and full kitchen
– Extra storage for books/shelves is a big plus
– Prefer private bath, entrance, and/or sunroom/study—but open to sharing for the right fit
– Emotional calm, privacy, and clear work-life boundaries are important
– Sports-friendly vibes (soccer, basketball, tennis, yoga) appreciated
Ideal Housemates:
– Mature, considerate, and reasonably clean (let’s say 8/10)
– Health/fitness professionals, coaches, educators, artists, or civic/higher-ed minded folks
– Value education, respectful communication, and a positive, healthy dynamic
– Prefer housemates who don’t work from home full-time (to keep things peaceful and restorative)
– Enjoy meaningful conversation and the occasional shared meal, but respect privacy
