Our young adults community is made up of people of similar ages but different life stages, from singles, to newly married couples, to young families.

With a focus on authentic community and intergenerational fellowship with our broader church family, it’s our goal to create a space for young adults to connect, relate, and grow in our church whether you’re just exploring your faith or you’ve been in the church for years. We meet together for Round Table two-three times per month (learn more below), and other events.

Round Table is a consistent time and place for young adults in the Capital Pres Family to develop a seamless Christian life, meaningful community, and hope for our world. We meet on the 1st, 3rd, (and 5th when it arises) Fridays of the month — we eat dinner together and hear from a speaker, discuss relevant topics in light of the gospel. More details about each Round Table are sent via email and text to young adults who are subscribed to our lists.

The theme for Round Table this year is “Applying Scripture to All of Life.” The presumption is that Scripture is the means through which we see and understand the world. Please mark your calendars for our upcoming Round Table dates/topics below, and check back here for updates!

  • 1/7: Deconstruction in the Church — RSVP
  • 1/21: God’s Love of Life: Womb to Tomb
  • 2/4: On Singleness
  • 2/18: Our Church’s Racial & Ethnic Reconciliation Report

Intergenerational mentoring is a significant part of Round Table. We desire to match every young adult who desires with a mentor. Regularly we invite mentors to join the conversation at Round Table. The goal of mentoring is simple: to become more like Jesus. Stay tuned for updates on our next round of mentor sign-ups!
