Rooted Women (RW) — formerly known as Crosstrainers Too — is a vibrant ministry for women seeking to deepen their faith through in-depth Bible study, small group accountability, and shared exploration of Christian literature and podcasts.

Whether you’re single, married, working, or retired, RW provides a welcoming, multigenerational community where women can learn from and encourage one another in their walk with Christ. Each ministry year, RW welcomes about 25–30 women who commit to gathering monthly on Saturday mornings, September through May.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each gathering features an in-depth and interactive Bible study led by one of several teachers, with participants completing a short reading or listening assignment in advance. Members are placed in small groups for the ministry year to reflect on study materials, share life experiences, and pray together. Past studies have spanned both the Old and the New Testaments, such as Exodus, Daniel, Nehemiah, Acts, Romans, and Hebrews.

Participants commit to meeting one Saturday a month, September–May, at McLean Presbyterian Church from 9am–12pm. In October, in lieu of our regular meeting time, we will have an all-day retreat local to the DC metro area on the scheduled Saturday.

Additional opportunities, such as informal gatherings, help strengthen the bonds of our community and create space for refreshment and renewal.
