Men’s Ministry

Equipping men for the pursuit of deeper relationships with God, their families, and one another.

We’re currently relaunching men’s ministry at MPC  – and we want to hear from you! Together we’re going to be seeking a way to grow as men who are on mission: to be disciples who would make a difference – in our world, our families, our jobs, and our city.

See below for what we’re hosting this year and then please contact J.T. Tarter at to sign up and indicate your interest! These initiatives will start as soon as we have enough men for each group.

Journey Groups. The Journey curriculum sets men off on a year of gospel-driven discipleship to build each other up as whole and mature men of God. In groups of 5-10, you’ll meet weekly to explore Jesus’ call for discipleship by applying God’s word to all areas of life, family, career, and community. Led by Dan Zimmerman and others.

Fellowship Groups. Fellowship groups are groups of 5-10 men who meet either once or twice a month for friendship, fellowship, and life lived together. There is no set curriculum – this is an opportunity to regularly build gospel friendships and share life together – pressing Jesus into ourselves and our lives. Led by Chris Geyer and others.

Men’s Retreat. We’re in the planning stages of relaunching our men’s retreat. Stay tuned for more details, as we determine the best date.
