Community Groups

Commit. Know. Love. Serve.

Adults, Young Adults

God created us for community; we can only flourish when we live according to his relational design. In community we develop genuine, vibrant connections, meet one another’s needs, and experience gospel grace.

Through Community Groups, we: Commit to weekly or bi-monthly gatherings; Know each other, sharing joys and sorrows; Love each other and love God, as together we learn more about him; Serve others and seek the flourishing of our city and our world.

What is a Community Group?

Community Groups are More than Bible Studies.

The primary purpose of a Community Group (CG) is to experience the living, Triune (relational) God. This includes Bible study, but also fellowship, prayer, and worship, all within the context of meaningful relationships with one another.

Anyone Can Join a Group

These groups are the foundation of community and care for our church. If you attend regularly or are a member, it’s our prayer you’ll join a CG.

Childcare May Be Available

Yes, some CGs provide childcare! Check with the leader for options.

Joining Is Simple

Click here to find a CG near you, or contact our office! We’d love to talk with you and help you find your community.

Lead a Group

Leading does not mean being perfect. Leading is simply inviting others into your life. Join us in creating community – no special theological knowledge or experience is necessary. E-mail Caroline (carolinecross@mcleanpres.org) to learn more.
