Advent is the season of waiting for Christmas, the coming of Jesus. It also symbolizes our waiting for Jesus to return again to restore all that is broken in our world.
Gather your family and friends and join us this season! There will be opportunities to gather for worship and celebration, to spend time in God’s Word, and to invite others to join us. This season culminates in a special candlelit Christmas Eve service on December 24.
Use this devotional individually, or with your family, friends, Community Group, or other gatherings. Each of the four weeks in December will focus on one theme of how God is with us in our wandering, worship, worries, and weakness. Read reflections from church members, meditate on daily Scripture readings and guided prayers.

The birth of Jesus—our “Immanuel”, which means “God with us”—testifies that God is truly with us in the midst of the brokenness of the world and the brokenness of our lives. The big story of the Bible is of God moving towards us, not away from us. It’s a story of God restoring all that was lost in Eden—culminating in the new heavens and earth. Our sermon series will explore stories throughout the Bible that remind us of God’s plan to save the world through Jesus, our Immanuel.
