The children living in the Kibera slum face some of Africa’s harshest realities, living among upwards of 250,000 people packed into only one square mile with no running water and little electricity. This team will travel to Kenya to spend a week facilitating a Vacation Bible School program for these kids on beautiful farmland outside Nairobi.
Make a difference in the lives of 100 children and their families through a 1-week English day camp in an Arabic and French speaking capital city where English is in high demand. We will experience culture and ancient history while serving alongside SERGE missionaries to share the love of Christ in a fun-filled, action-packed English immersion camp.
A team will travel to Romania to extend mercy to disadvantaged families and disabled orphans alongside Romanian Christian Enterprises. Our team will complete home repairs and facilitate activities for children who are disabled orphans. We will learn from RCE’s ministry model what it means for Christians and the Church to engage in holistic mercy ministry.
Minister directly to people living in the Kibera slum, an area with upwards of 250,000 people living in one square mile, with little or no access to electricity or running water. No special skills or experience are necessary (however we’re always in need of medical professionals). You’ll travel and minister alongside physicians and nurses from our congregation as we hold simple medical clinics to treat and pray for the people of Kibera.
Each summer, a team of students head to Scotland to help run two separate week-long outreach day camps with Young Life, sharing the gospel with high school aged students.
Rising 9th – 12th graders travel regionally to share gospel grace with different ministries helping those in need.
Each summer, a group of rising 8th and 9th graders “jump” across the Potomac River for a chance to share grace with people in need at various service organizations in Washington, D.C.
