Situation: Three recent college grads (Ole Miss, Auburn, & Rice) have lived in this house for 2 years now. We’ve thought about switching it up and moving but the price and location are pretty hard to beat. We have one guy moving out in mid-June so we need to fill his spot.

House: Located just a mile from Ballston quarter, with a bus stop across the street. We decided to live here because it’s an easy commute no matter where you’re working/studying in the DMV. There is a front & back porch and yard with grill and fire pit, large basement mainly for storage, and comfortable common areas on the first floor (kitchen, living room, dining room). There are 4 bedrooms, 3 on the second floor and 1 on the first. The second floor rooms share a full bath with a tub/shower while the first floor room has its own. Utilities (including WiFi) are usually around $50-$60 / month.

Room Available: The room available is on the second floor. It has plenty of closet space & natural lighting. The room is $825 and spacious compared to DC standards. Its a 1 year lease that technically begins July 1st, but there’s potential to move in earlier depending on schedules. We’d prefer a guy that is willing to commit to at least 1 year but are open so someone looking to stay through the summer. We deal directly with the owner of the house.

Neighborhood: The house is located in the Bluemont neighborhood on the corner of N. Kentucky St. and Wilson Blvd. right next to Bon Air Park and the W&OD trail. The street we live on is mostly young families with a few houses of college students. Very safe and surprisingly pretty.

Roommates: All three of us are young Christian guys who enjoy the outdoors. We work in full-time ministry, finance, and defense. We’re all laid back and looking for a down to earth guy. We grill out or go do stuff together on occasion and enjoy hosting whether it be a poker night, bonfire, or Saturday of college football.
