In 6th grade, children are invited to become communing members of our church. This process involves a bi-weekly class to learn the precepts of the Christian faith; 6th graders spend time in fellowship, worshiping, and eating dinner, then attend class for the second portion of the evening.

Details

We meet two Sundays a month from 5 – 7 p.m. Drop-off is at the Lodge. All 6th graders are welcome!

In the spring, Communicants attend a special retreat and are asked to share their profession of faith in writing. Students are then received into communing membership during a late springtime worship service.

All 6th graders are welcome; children are encouraged to invite friends! While this is the first step in the membership process for your child, membership is not required.
