Advent 101
Sundays, Dec. 2, 9, & 16 at 10:45 in the McLean Room & Cooper Middle School Band Room (Rm. 122)

What is Advent? How should it shape our thoughts and practices during this season? Drop in to the Explorers FOCUS class for this three-week adult education session that will explore the meaning of Advent and its relevance for our lives and celebrations today. This class will be taught by Rev. Dr. Bill Fullilove and others.

On Sunday, Dec. 2 we will meet in the McLean Room. On Sundays Dec. 9 & 16 we will meet at Cooper Middle School in the Band Room (Rm. 122).



The Core of Christian Belief
Sundays beginning January 13 at 10:45am in the Cooper Band Room (Rm. 122)

Christianity is about a person, Jesus Christ, but it’s also a set of beliefs. Christians have always believed certain things and rejected other things. What do we, as Christians, believe, and what do we not believe? And how essential is it to hold to those beliefs? This class will develop the foundational core of Christian belief and how it impacts our Christian life.
